In Core Keeper, your avatar is dropped into a mysterious dark cavern. You find yourself in a room with a powered-down core, connected to three statues that seem to require gemstones to run. What now? Roots no longer continue spawning in explored areas in the crystal biome. Environmental objects will no longer continue to spawn right next to the world edge. Fixed an issue where objects would not be rendered after the player was killed by a hydra boss.

You will spawn into the world on top of a Waypoint and in front of the Core. Surrounding the Core are three statues.
Malugaz, on the other hand, requires a special item. You'll need to collect 3 Crystal Skull Shards, put them on your Hotbar, and right-click in order to craft a Skull of the Corrupted Shaman. You must then place this on Malugaz's rune in order to summon him.

When you fought Glurch, you may have noticed a bunch of orange slime on the ground. This is not just an environmental hazard — these tiles cause enemies to spawn.
Screenshot by Bonus Action Glow Tulips, and recipes that incorporate them, will cause your character to emit an ambient glow. It’s not super bright, but the extra light can be really useful before you can craft a lantern for a more permanent solution.
Core Keeper is a clever, challenging, and immensely enjoyable sandbox mining game that's a blast to play. You can completely change how you play for a new experience, there are a lot of bosses and areas to explore, and the joy of finding a new item or new area is never lost.

Torch - these are key to being able to see in the dark of the underground. Holding the Shift key temporarily pulls torches, from anywhere in inventory, into the currently selected hot-bar slot, for Core Keeper Gameplay illumination and placement.
Poisonous Sickle and a shield that both apply poison on hit. Also, a 2-piece armour plus ring that synergises for higher damage output. These make farming Azeos far easier.
